The most popular way to add a prospect is by tapping on the map. But you can also use search to add a prospect if you know the address.

How to Use the Search Feature to add a new prospect

Here's how to add a new prospect using search:

  1. Open the Map: Start by opening the map view in your Lead Scout app. You'll find the prospects map icon at the bottom of your screen. Tap it to access the map.

  2. Access the Search Bar: Once you're in the map view, look for the search bar at the bottom of the screen, just above the menu. Tap on it to activate the search feature.

  3. Type in the address you'd like to add: Begin typing your search query. You'll see results appear as you type.

  4. Review Search Results: As you type, Lead Scout will display relevant results based on your query. Scroll through the results to find the address you'd like to add.

  5. Tap to Select: When you find the address you're looking for, simply tap on it to select it.

  6. Access Details: Tapping on a result will open that prospect on the map with a pop up that allows you to add the address as a new prospect. Tap "Add Prospect" to add the address as a prospect.

Search in Lead Scout is powerful and multipurpose

The search feature in Lead Scout serves multiple purposes, allowing you to:

  • Find Existing Prospects: Easily locate and access information about prospects you've already added to your account - search by address or prospect name

  • Add New Prospects: Search for specific addresses to add as new prospects

  • Pan the map: Use the search to pan to an address, zip code, city or metro areas, or a point of interest.

Tips for Efficient Searching

To make the most of the search feature, consider these tips:

  • Use Specific Keywords: The more specific your search query, the more accurate your results will be. If you're searching for a prospect, use their name or address whenever possible.

  • Explore Nearby Areas: Use the search to pan to an area or add new prospects in different neighborhoods.

  • Save Time on Scouting: Find existing prospects quickly, so you can spend more time focusing on your D2D sales efforts.

Our search feature is designed to help you stay organized and efficient while prospecting. Whether you're looking for existing leads or exploring new territories, Lead Scout has you covered.
