Where do you source data and how reliable is it?
The information we source is largely from municipalities, and consequently, the data availability and quality will largely vary depending on how robust the municipal records are.
How often is it updated?
We ask municipalities for data quarterly and update our central record with their updates. Note: we will be introducing the ability to "refresh" data on old prospects in your Lead Scout account soon.
Some of my prospects don't have data – why is that?
Not all homes have data available on them. In those cases, you'll notice that no homeowner name is attached, and the demographic data says "Unknown" for some or all of the categories.
How can I get demographic data?
We offer demographic data like age of home, owner occupancy, net worth, and more in our demographic data beta program. Contact support if you are interested in participating in that beta program. There is no cost to participating in this program or for demographic data you receive as part of the program – it's completely free to you.
How much does it cost me?
Data in Lead Scout is free! You get homeowner names for free on every prospect you pin. It is automatically included when you're a subscriber!
