Remove or disable a team member from your Lead Scout account

Account owners can easily remove team members in the team area of your Lead Scout account.

Removing a team member from your Lead Scout account is a straightforward process. This article provides step-by-step guidance on how to delete a team member and manage your team effectively.

Please note: Only account owners (the user who created the account) can delete team members from their account. Team members can not delete each other from the account.

Step 1: Access Team Settings

  1. Log in to your Lead Scout account.

  2. On mobile, tap "Account" or if you're in the web portal, select "Team" from the submenu under "Account Settings."

Step 2: Locate the Team Member

  1. Scroll through the list of team members to find the one you wish to delete.

Step 3: Delete the Team Member

  1. Tap on the three dots on the right-hand side of the team member name to open the actions menu for that team.

  2. Select the "Delete User" option.

  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

  4. The team member will be removed from your account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can delete team members? Only the owner of the account (the one who created the account) can delete other team members.

Can I recover a deleted team member? No, once a team member is deleted, they are removed from you team, you will no longer see them in the team list, and you cannot recover the team member. However, any data they created will still be preserved in your account.

What happens to the prospects created by and campaigns assigned to a deleted team member? Prospect created by this team member and campaigns assigned to them will become "unassigned".

Can I delete multiple team members at once? Lead Scout currently supports deleting team members individually. You'll need to repeat the process for each one.
